100's of Blocked Inbound IP's Daily

I literally get hundreds of these each day from various parts of the world. Sometimes the application is just system, sometimes the protocol is ICMP, and sometimes the destination port is Type(3) or Type(10). Are these normal?

No thoughts on this? ???

Welcome to the internet…

Without doing any research on the ports or protocols in question, I can tell you that it is indeed normal to see hundreds of port scans daily. This is why a firewall is necessary these days. Numerous port scans don’t necessarily indicate you are being targeted for an attack.

Thank you HeffeD, that’s what I wanted to hear! :-TU
