#1 Firewall Rating in Matousec test?

In 2009 Feb, Matousec release one new web page call “Firewall Challenge”
http://www.matousec.com/projects/firewall-challenge/archive.php

It can easily query various firewall testing result.
I query following product:

  1. Comodo Firewall Pro (3.0.22.349)
  2. Comodo CIS (3.5.55810.432)
  3. Online Armor Personal Firewall (3.0.0.190)
  4. Outpost Firewall Pro(2009.6.5.2358.316.0607)

Result shown below:
Date: 2009-03-28
Comodo 3.0.22.349 – 95%
Comodo CIS 3.5.55810.432 – 90%
On Line Armor Personal Firewall 3.0.0.190 – 93%
Outpost Firewall Pro 2009 6.5.2358.316.0607 – 89%

Is it indicate Comodo Firewall Pro 3.0.22.349 is still better than CIS 3.8?
And
Is it indicate Comodo Firewall Pro 3.0.22.349 is the #1 firewall in the market?

There was a testing mistake by matousec, (Not running comodo with it’s maximum settings) Also, there was a bug which missed ( one ?) test. Today’s results give a 100% score on version *.477

As kyle said… It was a human error done by Matusec guy David when running the tests… Making CIS 3.5 score extremely bad. CIS was not tested with it strongest settings as the others where… Comodo reacted to this, and contacted David about it, He corrected it, and did a retest. Comodo however released a bug fix before he ran the retests, he chose not to retest the “good” version… If he had chosen to do that CIS would be #1 there… By far… It technically is number 1 (already was with some 3.5 version) and offers the best protection of all the listed firewalls… Read the full story below:

no, no… As for 3.0 vs 3.5 its not a fair comparison… 3.5 is absolutely stronger. And 3.8 is even stronger, due to having added protection vs Buffer overflows, + various fixes… The reason why its not a fair comparison is because 3.0 was tested against fewer tests. 3.5 and 3.8 should stop anything 3.0 can… PLUS more… =)
Well maby not the bugged 3.5…

But if you are to pick, then 3.8 is my recommendation… =) Technically #1 at matusec…! Even if 3.0 and 3.5 is still pretty thought firewalls,  =) (3.5 fixed would also be #1 if matusec didn’t refuse to test it).
Outpost for instance one “official” leader got retested, pretty late, but is still not in class with 3.5… Only on the paper… =)
