0x800702e4 error during CIS 10.x update

- CIS version: 10.0.0.6086; 10.0.0.6092

- OS version: Windows 10 Build 14393.576 x64; Windows 8.1 Build 6.3.9600 x64

- What you did:
Perform clean installation for Comodo Firewall and reboot the system once; then go to “Tasks”->“GENERAL TASKS”->“Update”, perform the update.

- What you actually saw:
The update will always FAILED with error message “STATUS: The requested operation requires elevation.”. Click “View Logs”, can find the status of file “recognizer_v10.0.0.6092.dll” has error, the error code is 0x800702e4.

What you expected to happen or see: Expected behavior is update without any error

If possible attach a screenshot illustrating the GUI problem:

Firewall: Custom Ruleset
Auto-Sandbox: Disabled
HIPS: Disabled
Viruscope: Enabled
Website Filtering: Enabled
AV: N/A

OS version, SP, 32/64 bit, UAC setting, account type, V.Machine used:
Physical machine. User in Administrators user group. Disabled UAC from Control Panel.

Please attach diagnostics report.

I tried, but it shows “Diagnostics did not find any errors”.

I had this problem too and managed to solve it by obtaining 2 Comodo files that were apparently missing from my Windows 10 installation, from the installation on Windows 7.
