0.0.0.0:68 --> 255.255.255.255:67?

I’m getting UDP source 0.0.0.0:68 to destination 255.255.255.255:67 in my outbound connections and I’ve never seen that before. Does anyone know what that is?

Thank you.

It is marked as blocked on my event log. However, I have it marked as an allowable rule on System and in global rules. I can’t figure out what else to do to stop the message showing up in the event log as blocked. Any clue?

You have to create a Application rule for svchost.exe for this to work.

I set a rule up…I’ll see if this works. I’m a little confused because I did have a rule for this app that allowed all outbound requests. Very much appreciate the feedback. This has bothered me for a long time!

Please read here explains it better than I can.
