Requesting staff for possibly having a update Ice Dragon v64.0.14  to Firefox v66.0.5 codebase to fix the "Mozilla addon" extension issues or maybe port Mozilla's bug fix solution to  V64.0.14
Mozilla Firefox has already fixed the issue for Firefox,  Icedragon just needs a codeupdate :)

Thank You (:m*)

It's hard being a crooked Admin when the files won't pass an md5checksum test.  But like any other good crooked Admin it can be done, it just takes time(and lots of it) and a few aspirins

FYI,

There is already an instant hotfix .xpi which is already signed by Mozilla.

Hotfix: Update XPI signing intermediate [Bug 1548973]
This is a hotfix that updates an intermediate certificate used for signing add-ons. It is one of the mechanisms used to fix bug 1548973.

https://storage.googleapis.com/moz-fx-normandy-prod-addons/extensions/hotfix-update-xpi-intermediate%40mozilla.com-1.0.2-signed.xpi

This is the fix Mozilla has published to be installed via shield studies, but skipping the shield studies part. You can be sure it's not malicious because it is signed by Mozilla.

N.B.: I used it and it worked well and all my addons re-enabled after that.  ;D
