We are happy to announce that an update for Comodo IceDragon is available for download!

What’s new:

  • IceDragon is based on Firefox 21.0.
  • added HTTPS enforcement feature.

What’s fixed:

  • UI Web developer tools issues.
  • GUI issues when using personas.
  • Other skin related issues.

HTTPS enforcement feature overview

HTTPS enforcement feature allows users to use by default HTTPS connectivity when visiting particular domains.
Clicking the simple address bar icon while on a HTTPS website will instruct IceDragon to always establish SSL connections for the future visits to the website.

KNOWN ISSUES

  • Importing data during the installation of Comodo IceDragon may not work in some cases.
  • GUI issues when using themes.
  • Other minor GUI issues.

Hardware acceleration: (Default off)?

It has been disabled by default since the previous version due to some issues with nvidia cards.
