Hello,

The reason is that we do not support Windows 7. We do not support it yet, but in CSC 2 will be supported.

- Your Operating System (and whether it’s 32bit/64bit); - WinXP Pro SP 3

- Security Software Installed; - CIS 3.8 (without AV), Avira AV 8.2

- How you produced the problem; - I made a clean install of CSC. After running a registry cleaner (with safe deleate option enabled) and rebooting, no window was shown. But there is an information about deleting registry hives in a log file.

Hi

Can you tell me if your windows installation kit is modified with a software like Nlite? Can you please tell me more about your software installed? Please post me your windows installation kit on a file sharing server? Thank you for your support.

My copy of windows was not modified with nlite or any other software of such kind. I have simple official copy. Unfortinatly, i cant post it anywhere, due to my traffic cost. I’ll attach a screenshot of my software list.

In addition to previous post. After rebooting second time, windows refused to boot, saying that some system files were missing. Had to reinstall it((

Same problem here with Windows 7
scan, clean registry & boot
no windows asking finalize
then today it won’t boot
try to fix it with Win 7 own diagnostic utility
it can’t seen to find & fix the problem

i am now trying to avoid using this with my XP
i will try to reinstall win 7 again
will try to to wait for more responses here before reinstalling
hoping a fix or something will come up

Hello,

I am sorry but right now we do not support Windows 7.

Power clean my computer doesn’t remember privacy settings.

I unchecked media player history and media player playlist in privacy settings. When I run power clean my computer it clears every thing in my Windows media player.

Reported for two previous version, still not fixed.

PS: Does anybody read bug reports?

  • Problem: The default “Recent Documents” icon on my start menu was altered to the default “XP folder” icon after the system restart, following a CSC registry and disk cleanup.

  • Operating System; Windows XP, 32bit

  • Security Software Installed; ESET NOD32 3.0.684, SuperAntiSpyware 4.25.1014, Mamutu 1.7.0.28 (Trial Version)

  • How you produced the problem; See “Problem”

  • How you tried to resolve the problem; I manually changed the icon of the folder: Recent - C:\Documents and Settings\metalforlife
Now the icon of my recent documents folder is the “start menu” Recent Documents icon

  • Screen-shots with the error (if any); How do I post a screen shot?

  • Post Memory Dumps on crash if you encounter any; ----

  • All log files of CSC, if you had logs enabled; Since I have uninstalled CSC, I presume that all the log files are gone(?)

  • Any other Additional Information;
