It's now nearly 8 month since the 1st version 11 release and still no autoupdate.
Easy question: Will there be an autoupdate from 10 to 11?

Yes?
No?
Nobody knows?

Thanks and Greetings!

Hello,

Some files
Do not open the error below

Opening the software in container mode then + the file is ok
Support diagnostics => Ok

Windows 10 Pro x64 1809 BUILD 17763.253
CIS v11.0.0.6744
You can't run Windows Store/Metro/UWP apps in containment only desktop apps are supported.
I am getting the same error when I try to open a PDF with Acrobat Reader DC.

I just made a test with the program DDI (471ko) which allows to monitor the connections (stability) so when sending in the container that requires an external connection via the network card, being in custom mode at the firewall no request is not proposed so the time out returns the error below

(Program attached)
However I did get a Firewall alert for Acrobat Reader while it was running inside the container.

At staff.  I have reported this last month as well as several other members but it seems to have slipped your attention:
I am currently running Windows 10 1809 (17763.194) after having run Insider builds. When starting the pc on multiple occasions a day Windows 10 immediately complains the av needs updating even though it has been updated less than 6 hrs.  See the two attached images.

Is this being impatient expected behavior of Windows 10 or is there a miscommunication between CIS and the Security Center? Does anybody have an idea or similar observations?
Hello,

I am currently running Windows 10 1809 (17763.195), same for me but randomly
same here, but usually just at starts up or reboots,  for a few sec.  So may not be the same issue. (10 - 195)

On another note, I guess any "version" updates are just not going to be delivered, I have 10 still on a desktop and a laptop that has yet to see 11, but gets the signatures,  I have 11 on another laptop that only gets the signatures and yet to get any update to the orig 11.

(NO I don't need to "uninstall and reinstall" it either will do the online update as before or it stays as it is.)
I also have this.
Is this impatient behavior of Windows 10 1809 related to CIS or is it a Windows 10 peculiarity?

I have no problem to open PDF, Jpg, PNG files in isolated mode ...
I use Win 7. The problems of opening of these types of file would not they be due to Win 10

Hi,

I typod. We are on the same version. I edited the post.

At radek178 and biteater. It will come although it is not clear when. The following comment by Sergei mentions "update from 11.0.0.6744 to the next release" might imply that 6744 is a starting point. This might mean all users get updated to 6744 . But this is all speculation in the best tradition of Kremlin watching.

Hello team.

Thanks for your feedback, it is very much appreciated.

I would like to clarify the situation with DC040780 and WMI errors in event log - those messages are actual for win 1809 and higher.
They appear because of MS changes and actual for a lot of AVs.
As Ploget mentioned, they do not affect protection functionality at all.

Fixes are already implemented and included in the next major release scope, the same as containment fixes, as all this stuff is on kernel level.

We plan to go on public with 11.0.0.6744 before we release next version because of two reasons:
- It has a bunch of fixes for issues automatically reported to us, which might be invisible, but significantly affect overall stability.
- We've implemented a lot of stuff under the hood for RS5+ support. So, update from 11.0.0.6744 to the next release will be as smooth as possible (technically it will use minor update flow).

Why you can't push even minor updates through updater?
