Installed and running successfully Win 10 - 1709 build 16299.192 though I do have the Defender Centre notification "Actions Needed In Comodo Firewall". Also ISE doesn't install even though it is selected in the optional components and installer downloads ISE.

EDIT (Update): I went into msconfig.exe and selected "normal startup" which reverts to selective automatically, restarted my laptop and the firewall issue went away. Doing further tests but so far this resolved the issue for me.

Thanks for sharing this Eric! I too have this issue. Upon each reboot of Windows 10 Pro, the Defender Centre icon is green then changes red after 2-5 minutes every time. I will have to try your suggestion on msconfig and report back.

Any ideas on what changed in Comodo between this release and the last one to have this occur? Perhaps something to do with the latest Microsoft KB update?

Same here. Can't trust CIS until it is fixed.

Dustyn and Samma could you try the Security Center reset to see if that solves your problem? Registration with the Security Center in general is often just a problem caused by the general flakiness of the Security Center it self.

Quote
Open a command prompt by clicking Start → Run. Type cmd and click OK.

In the command prompt window, type NET STOP WINMGMT /Y and press ENTER.

Type REN %WINDIR%\SYSTEM32\WBEM\REPOSITORY REP.OLD and press ENTER.

Type EXIT and press ENTER to close the window.

Restart the system. Windows should start normally, but you may be prompted to restart the system once more to complete the changes caused by resetting the core repository. You may also need to restart once more if Windows Security Center still does not detect your security product.

The Windows Firewall is enabled, the Сomodo firewall is deferred. It should not be.

I have unistall old version with Comodo CleanUP tool and install this new one, after PC restart everything is OK but after 10-15min WDSC show problem with Comodo Firewall and show that Comodo Firewall is Snoozed.

UPDATE:
This don't solve the problem:
Open a command prompt by clicking Start → Run. Type cmd and click OK.
In the command prompt window, type NET STOP WINMGMT /Y and press ENTER.
Type REN %WINDIR%\SYSTEM32\WBEM\REPOSITORY REP.OLD and press ENTER.
Type EXIT and press ENTER to close the window.

After starting this morning; exactly the same problem. I was able to turn of Windows Firewall at first, but after 10 minutes, CIS Firewall snoozes. Tried a clean install, to no effect

Plus, for the first time, my License Key (valid for at least another year), has been rejected as invalid!

I am having the same problem too.

Unfortunately Eric, that command yields an ACCESS IS DENIED message. Even from an elevated Command Prompt. PowerShell yields a more interesting response stating that the path does not exist.

EDIT1: I was successful in performing the above command manually through a boot disk. I am now rebooting to see if this has fixed things... Be back shortly.

EDIT2: Sadly, this was unsuccessful...  :'( The folder was recreated but there was no change with Security Centre.

Doesn't work here on the Win10 . . . . strangely enough the Win7x64 has been working normally w/o this problem

Looks like this version should have remained in BETA status...  :embarassed:

Hi Guys,
We will check it further, few questions:
1. Do you see any functional problem with Comodo Firewall?
2. Do you see any error message from system tray?

Just wondering if there are any user experience aspects of it or you see "snoozed" status only when you see status in security center.

Thanks
-umesh

I only see snooze status in security centre, Umesh. Otherwise Comodo Firewall appears to be working OK.
