Hello Everyone,

We are glad to announce that COMODO Internet Security/Antivirus/Firewall 7.0.317799.4142 is released.

This is a maintenance release which addresses a few issues reported by community.

What’s new in 7.0.317799.4142?

Fixed

  • Alerts are blocked while there pending notifications – This may cause some users to observe blocked Internet, delayed alerts or sometimes freezes
  • Downloaded documents could not be opened in sandboxed Office 2010
  • Windows 8.1 update sometimes fail if Viruscope is enabled
  • BSOD while manually uninstalling inspect.sys

Because Comodo tweaked the installers there are two versions of the installers of the suite, the firewall and the av . The data in small font are for the older version. The data in the regular font are for the version currently available for download.

Updates & Upgrades
CIS 5.x and CIS 6.x users will receive this update in scope of regular CIS update procedure.

Actually it shows that Comodo is fixing small bugs quickly. One of the problems was related to Windows 8.1 update which was only released a week ago. Glad to a problem fixed in only a week. :slight_smile:
