Hi Eric,
This is true for Win 7 and earlier, but in Windows 8 smartscreen now runs at desktop level.
Smartscreen filtering is now known as  'Windows Smartscreen' in Win 8, checking the files reputation regardless of the browser used.

Kind regards.
This is true. I saw the Win 8 SmartScreen question a file and I wasn't even in a browser,

What is your doubt?

Sorry, i have do a quoting-error.  My doubt is:

"And which is the diference between this pair of securedns ips 8.26.56.26/8.20.247.20 and 156-154-70-22/156-154-71-22?

CIS install the second ip pair but on securedns web show the first pair.

I think that first pair is powered by level 3 and second pair is powered by ultradns, is it true?.

What ip pair is the best?.

Thank you very much."

I am having two problems after upgrading to 7.
I can not connect with vuze remote pairing (Android) unless you disable the firewall. I do not want guesses as rules already tried opening the door but it did not, I do want to try to connect and see the solution. And the other is an insistent locked in explorer.exe windows 8.1.I know it is because with the Defender (native antivirus) do not.
    Someone to give a solution?
     Someone to give a light?
I saw another post in the forum something similar in Portuguese
https://forums.comodo.com/portuguesportuguese/firewall-do-cis-7-bloqueando-programa-a-revelia-t103374.0.html
These seem complex issues - please report them as bugs so they can be analysed.

Bug in all versions of firewall.
Run full screen - goes notification from Comodo - the window is already open and the black screen - out or activate alert does not work.
alt + tab does not help.
Ctrl + atl + del - does not help.
Just reboot your PC.

Please find a work around: here. You'll need to adapt for CIS 7.x, sorry, but the principles are the same.

Firewall not blocks applications. http://itcafe.hu/dl/upc/2014-04/323076_aimp.thumb.png Listen radio in AIMP, not blocks firewall. :( What is problem?

Please post in firewall help so someone can work with you to see if this is a bug. If so please report it as a bug in the bugs Board.

Many thanks

  • Multiple UI themes - Users are now able to choose between Modern, Classic and Tile based UI themes
Thankyou so much for listening to feedback. I had greatly missed my right click taskbar directly into firewall settings from 5.x. Super mega happy.

Hello,
are there any screenshots for this new Comodo Firewall to check how the interface looks like ?
I'm still using comodo 5.12, as i didn't like the interface on comodo 6.0
The version 7.0 has the same interface as the 6.0 ?
Windows 8.1 Enterprise 64bit

Security programs installed : Comodo FW v12.2.2.7036

Pop-up froze for AV alert.

During Free Driver Scout install on Win 8.1 Update 1 x64

And you should make bug reporting easier.

Good point. Currently reporting bugs is not too simple. Many users will not go the the forum.
