Does anyone know which file is used to store the "Trusted Files" list? It used to be trusted.db in the database folder, but that folder is now empty. It would help me when updating my other machines. I used to copy the file over for a quicker setup.
No sorry you cannot not do this now, db files are not available or exist.

There is a group of five files in hidden files, found some of trusted files in two files, but if you try to alter any single one you end up with a corrupt install.

You can copy all five and replace back as a whole block though.

Easy way in Trusted files now is to select all, then untick the ones you want to keep.

Hidden files = Program Data.

A question please:
So far I have ver6. Do I have to install ver7 from the donloaded .exe or wait for the automatic update (in some days maybe) ?
For the moment, automatic update can't find a newer version

Updates will someday be rolled but suggest u go for a clean install.. Always better..

Hi! Please tell me, why does not work "Scan Antivirus COMODO" from the context menu in Total Commander? In Windows Explorer, everything works fine. Is there a solution to this problem?

Hi a256886572008,
I have noticed for 'Internet Security' configuration it is disabled by default.
For 'Proactive Security' configuration it is enabled by default.
I am not sure if this is intended behaviour or not. :-\

Intended I would think, for risk management reasons.

Average users, they think, may not realize reversal will delete all files created by process (and sub-processes)
Advanced users, they think will

So they have listened which is a good thing, even if the approach they have adopted removes more of the VC benefits than the adjustments we were suggesting. I hope they have made some of the changes we suggested too, as the VC alert timeout and autoreversal was a problem for advanced users in 4101, as were the uninformative confirmation dialogs.

They may have good reasons of course that we don't know about......

Best wishes

This is a known issue M179 please report that it is not fixed in the Bugs Board, or PM Chiron if you cannot find it.

Best wishes

It seems beta could not update to new release.

I click update, and it still show produce version:7.0.312140.4101

Please don't try updating from a Beta to a public release build - it is likely to cause stability problems. It's best to uninstall first using Chiron's method: here

Wait what... The trusted files list has become corrupted for me several times, the only way to fix it was to remove the trusted.db file.. So you're now telling me that if the trusted files list becomes corrupted again, the only way to remove that corruption is to cause other corruption?

Yay, re-install whenever TFL gets corrupt. ;D NO! >:(

You have three themes you can choose between, you can find them in the advanced settings.

Metro style is not the default theme installed after installation.

There's no point of introducing something and boasting abut it when its disabled... It has to bekept enabled for people to know, atleast for novice users who don't play with settings...

Anyways Rejoice guys, the final is out... I'm dying to use it coz the RC didnt play well with me though the Beta did.. :D

Thx Comodo

Enabled for advanced users (in proactive config) it seems (have not tested this version myself yet).

Be happy :) They are probably looking after people by managing the risks (small but need managing) of VC usage in inexperienced hands until it matures.

Best wishes

When program is autosandboxed as Fully Virtualized and stucked during installation, clearing of sandbox fails.
The only way to get rid of that frozen window is to restart PC.
Has anyone experienced this?
