Just updated and got an error message saying Comodo couldn't start. That bug is still here, happens every five to seven boots. Then I have to start it manually.

If you chose yes, then your internet will be faster and safer.

Please explain in detail how Privdog, a product from AdTrustMedia, https://adtrustmedia.com/ , which as stated on their frontpage, "AdTrustMedia. Higher ROI, Better Result$ Our unique cloud based placement technology lowers costs while improving the quality of the placement of your web ads." will be beneficial.

Privdog says they make your pc "safer and faster." Compared to what?
In thier FAQ they mention intentionally displaying "trusted" adds that have been scrutinized by Comodo products to be safe.

Not trying to start drama here, but this seems more like a business squeeze than anything else.

Would genuinely like to know the relationship Comodo has with AdTrustMedia.

The virtual keyboard does not support multi-languages.

It supports English only.

Running Windows 8.1 Pro RTM 64-Bit.

After installation, the Comodo system tray icon is a cross "X" instead of the usual "C" for Comodo. The main Comodo window says "At Risk", and when I click the red "Fix It!" button I then get the message:
"Diagnostics have found some errors and could not fix them automatically".

Same here :(

Just a hunch, but if you look up the name of the person who founded Comodo Group, the name of the person who founded AdTrustMedia and the name of the person you're replying to, you should have your answer.   ;)

I had earlier downloaded the complete CIS installation file from the main page of this section. I had done just as I always a clean install of this newest CIS, and I had absolutely no issues whatsoever.

I do believe most issues that some people are having is from self, and not Comodo.

But that doesn't answer the question, which is exactly why I addressed this post to that person.
A quick search shows who Melih is and what he is part of.

My original questions remain unanswered.

IMNSHO you are trying to start drama.

The guy spend millions of dollars to create a top class security software and then give it away for free, but anytime he tries to get some income from outside you are ready to attack him for his efforts.

He should keep spending his money only to develop product to give away for free?

It is not hurting anyone, leave them alone and let them make some bucks, bro.

They are doing a good job, I running this latest version on my main box and it is ok product.

Hi plywood99,
Please read the following topic for some explanation.
Would have been much easier to build an adblocker without caring for Publishers

Also the other overviews posted by Staff here helps explain the benefits of PrivDog.

Thanks.
