Updates & Upgrades

6.x users can quickly update to the latest version by simply running their automatic updates.
5.x users can download the upgrade package and run it to upgrade to 6.3: http://downloads.comodo.com/cis/download/installs/www/cis5upgrade/index.html

Is it just me or is the automatic update not ready yet? I press update and CIS said that it is up to date. I'm using 6.2.285401.2860.

I used this link and ıt download the 6.2 version I am still 6.2   from Turkey

Man, just wondering, why has the installer jumped over to over 200MB for 6.3?  That's a gain of 50MB+ since 6.2!!  The last 6.2 one was 143MB, and the last 5.10 one was 84.7MB.

Maybe a better compression algorithm is needed?

OK here is v6.3 now... Well Over 200+ bugs... Good.. Well Done...

Is there any system impact improvement... Well I hate to say but whenever I have installed CIS v6.x I've always been disappointed with the impact it has... And I return back to v5.12...

Will try it on VM first then think about getting it on my host...

This is why I'm still rocking 5.10 after a complete reinstall of my system earlier this week after getting a new SSD.

Might just be your ISP.

I was just able to download the 6.3 installer less than 5 minutes ago.

I just tried to update using the internal updater, three times and it always failed after a while of very slow (like 20 KB/s) downloading. Something about timeout or unknown server response. I'll try again later.

I have just tried to install the new update v 6.3.294583.2937  on two occasions today 25.9.13. On both occasions I got the blue screen of death.  I have now switched off the automatic program update feature.
I am running Comodo v 6.2.23257.2860.  Windows XP Home.  Has anyone else experienced this problem.

I attach a copy of the CIS Report created when the blue screen was encountered.

I apologize in advance if this is not the correct place to post this.
