CIS pushed the update, installed successfully. Windows 10 Pro 2004 x64 Build 19041.630
Comodo CIS 12.2.2.7098. Diagnostic OK. Did you fix that or just deactivate the error warning  Just kidding. THANKS FOR THE UPDATE.

Yes, warnings in specific servers will not be treated as error in diagnostics anymore. Most of CIS users already know this error type However, this was not the only problem. It was just one of the root causes of wrong error in diagnostics. Others are also resolved (e.g. registry access issue).

Just updated from 7062 to 7098 with internal update on all remaining machines (Win10 PCs & Laptops). Went well w/o any problems or errors. Reboot on each for the Cryptolocker.dll and that was it -

After installing the update I kept getting Windows Defender Controlled Folder Access warnings from different processes.

The Controlled Folder access history in Windows Defender is now overloaded and crashes when you attempt to view it.

I have tried reinstalling CIS (initial install had folder protection on, the uninstall (with uninstall tool) and reinstall had it turned off), running CIS diagnostics and running a SFC scan, all come back fine.

I have tried reinstalling CIS (initial install had folder protection on, the uninstall (with uninstall tool) and reinstall had it turned off), running CIS diagnostics and running a SFC scan, all come back fine.

Did you check if CIS was properly registered with Security Center? If that is not the case Defender will be active which explains the alerts you got by Defender. When needed reset the Security Center.

I'm trying to update from the program itself. The update is found, but the download and installation is interrupted with the following error:

When you run the update again, you get the following error:
Ошибка: 0x800704ca - Сетевое подключение было закрыто.

What should I do?

Hi Hanpo4b,

This issue has been reported to the corresponding team. They are looking into it.

Could you please try this :-

Add the URL http://us4.download.comodo.com into the list of servers in Proxy and Host Settings and uncheck the rest then run Update.

Advanced Settings -> Updates -> Proxy and Host Settings -> Servers.

Should I permanently install _http: //us4.download.comodo.com or return _https: //download.comodo.com ?
The COMODO Internet Security\database folder is empty, although it shows database version 33146. Shouldn't there be a *.cav file here?
There are many upd(numbers/letters).tmp files in the COMODO Internet Security\ and COMODO Internet Security\themes folders. Can I delete them?

The av database is no longer stored there. It is now stored in C:\ProgramData\Comodo\Cis\signatures.

I noticed comodo antivirus broke files even if you restore it and add in exculsion. It broke aimp player completely and I uninstalled comodo from my last PC where I use it. Here is information (aimp 4.70.2239/ comodo latest version 12.2.2.7098/ heuristic analisys - medium). It's old bug, comodo ALWAYS broke files if quarantine it, all broken after restore from comodo, now I need to reinstall program, good think it's not that program what hard to reinstall. Here is screenshots
