- It's annoying
- Every other AV I have tried can disable Windows Defender without problems
The icon is legacy from v6914 it's only an esthetic minor bug and it might be related to the Device Control (maybe ?)
I don't know about other AV since some years ago, and i might wrongly presume that other AV do indeed disable the Microsoft own "security protection" like defender and even firewall and i don't think
Microsoft
$ allowed or like that so easy..
And just maybe COMODO, it's actual security suite operates along with Microsoft Firewall as disabling Microsoft Firewall has negative consequences to the OS itself, so a very smart move from COMODO security suite was to operate along but not with Microsoft Firewall.
In other words COMODO is letting the MS must carry package Firewall to do it's magic (assure that some vital OS function works) and that's it !
So to have peace of mind just now that COMODO is indeed the main Firewall!
