second screenshot you can edit 5th rule (run virtually one) with comes default
top of edit window (action) you can select block instead of run virtually / ignore / restricted
that way you will not see any green frame unknown apps going to be blocked even before they run

OK, I think I understand now. But, doesn't that just lock things down further? I just want the sandbox to behave the way it is supposed to (the way it did before I installed build 6882). Also, I run VoodooShield which warns me when any unknown application tries to run.
Windows 10 Home 64-bit, version 1909, build 18363.900 (hyper-threading disabled)
Comodo Firewall 12.2.2.7036
Kaspersky Security Cloud 20.0.14.1085(k)
HMP.A 3.8.4 Build 873 BETA & HMP 3.8.18 b312 (64-bit)
VoodooShield 5.77
Google Chrome 83.0.4103.116 (Official Build) (64-bit) run in Comodo sandbox

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think that scenario should work. They are both sandboxed.

That's how it is!

That's a little tricky. I have a lot of programs in the Auto-Containment which I set to Ignore (the rule). Programs a trust! But only the program is set to ignore not all the folder and it works.

You can create your own rules in auto-containment, e.g. trusted programs.

Radio and TV are currently warning of new methods of more aggressive cybercrime.
Especially online banking is at risk.
Are we with the current cis version with e.g. proactive or own settings still well protected?

Thank you!
I know that, but it's from the beginning of the year.

Cybercrime seen to be getting worse: The time to act is now

Is the risk of becoming a victim of cybercrime increasing? Most people in North America and Europe think it is, based on the surveys that I?ve been looking at. Earlier this year the European Union published the results of its latest consumer survey on internet security in which 87% of internet users agreed that the risk of becoming a victim of cybercrime is increasing (see the Resources link below for details of EBS480: Special Eurobarometer 480: Europeans? attitudes towards Internet security).

Press Release

Europol?s 2019 cybercrime report provides insights into emerging threats and key developments.

Cybercrime is continuing to mature and becoming more and more bold, shifting its focus to larger and more profitable targets as well as new technologies. Data is the key element in cybercrime, both from a crime and an investigate perspective.

These key threats demonstrate the complexity of countering cybercrime and highlight that criminals only innovate their criminal behaviour when existing modi operandi have become unsuccessful or more profitable opportunities emerge. In essence, new threats do not only arise from new technologies but often come from known vulnerabilities in existing technologies that remain unpatched for extended periods of time. Law enforcement must therefore not only focus on the potential impact of future technological developments in cybercrime, such as artificial intelligence but also approach cybercrime in a holistic sense, including prevention, awareness and increasing cyber education and resilience.

If we are lucky maybe Cruelsister will provide some perspective or advice. - She is excellent at bringing clarity to security issues.

I hope that too.
I have cis set bp according to the proposition of cruelsister with something more security setup.
The question is whether these are still effective as before (so at least for me) or whether CIS now points of attack shows because of missing update. Are the rules etc. more effective / secure than adapting the program to the criminal challenges / new "techniques"?
I'm a bit unsure now.

I wouldn't get overly concerned about this. The vast majority of of Banking Frauds are carried out by 'Social Engineering' with telephone calls and persuasion, or just straight physical theft of personal details. The EuroPol notice is mainly directed at advising Police to widen approach to cybercrime in a holistic sense, including prevention, awareness and increasing cyber education and resilience

AI will no doubt emerge in crime methodology, as it will also in prevention, but the Comodo testing is just as relevant today as it was in February

Just watch who you talk with on the phone   :)

Thank you, that calms me again. Calls have no chance with me.
I hang up immediately, of course not if it's my partner!  :D

CIS has up until now always protected me safely.
