You should take a look at 5.5 & older database.
Yes a bit crazy, but OH well whatever will be will be. ;)

We submitted some FalsePositives with our valuable friends, I think it decrease the database size  ;D

I have no time to look it up but it has been stated in the past. First it was Daisy. Later if I recall correctly Valkyrie got involved in crunching. Comodo is working on generic signature but I don't know specifics.

Yeah, it seems like Comodo is either creating more generic signatures or removing a lot of FP's because the Total Definitions is decreasing.

Yeah, it seems like Comodo is either creating more generic signatures or removing a lot of FP's because the Total Definitions is decreasing.

A generic signature refers to multiple (hundreds, thousands, ...) threats detected using a single definition while false-positives will be included (anyway) in the database from my understanding. The database contains both 'goodware' & 'malware'.

Number of definitions went up, hopefully Comodo will still continue decreasing database size as 230mb+
is way too large.
