We have 55 passed QA so will be release within 48 hours.

57 work is in parallel and targeted for release around a week later.

Comodo has been behind on the Chromium release cycle for four years now. It is what we have come to expect even when Comodo employees promise with the best of their expectations and intentions. It's unfortunate but it's how things are.  :-\

We have a separate topic in which we collect the complaints about release dates since February 2013. I will most likely split and merge subsequent posts about release date with that topic to keep this topic on track.
in short, it is a dead project but Comodo does not want to bury it  :D since 2013  >:-D

Split and merged here. You know it's not dead; it moves not as fast as we all would like.  :-\

  • I am a IT student learing how to fix computers.
And probably by the time we have 128bit OSs then we'll have this browser in 64bit.

And so are many other Chromium variants...your point won't make Dragon be version 60 any time soon.

I'm not the one bragging that the competition is at whatever version, like a little kid.
I'm talking like a grown-up, because grown-ups would say, "We are working on it and expect it to be where when we can have it available."
Sure, my reply sounded childish but it's after how many "(Browser) is in version #(##)." or "When will #(##) version arrive for Dragon."
It will be here when it is ready.
You are free to use the other browsers or completely jump ship, they are "free" to use as you please.

No regular update of Dragon
« Reply #624 on: January 15, 2018, 11:47:19 AM »
why is there no regular update of Dragon compared to Chromium.
Currently I have problems with the latest version of Dragon with my Webmail, which I do not have with the latest version of Chromium.
V 60.0.3112 for Dragon
and V 63.0.3239 for Chromium

I always suggest, please use developing browsers. Comodo always way behind the competitors. I see no point to use it even for security purposes.
Opera, Vivaldi, Firefox are very good recently. I suggest you to switch  :-TU I am a fan of CD/CID but.. they made this.

Flash Player crashes frequently now - when will Dragon v65 be out please ?
« Reply #626 on: March 07, 2018, 09:22:23 PM »
Hi, Two Facebook games, Gardens of Time and Pearls Peril, have recently started crashing just with Comodo Dragon.
Both give an  “Aw, Snap”  error as Player Crashes.

I've received several comments from friends about it and unfortunately, though it saddens me, the only advice I have been able to give them is to try another browser.

I was informed by Wooga that their Pearls Peril game will no longer work in such an old Chrome Build.

"Unfortunately, this issue is caused by the browser you are using currently (Comodo Dragon). In this case, you have to wait for an update from the developers of this browser. In the meantime, we recommend using the 64-Bit Version of Google-Chrome or Mozilla Firefox."

Turning off Hardware Acceleration is not an option as Wooga's app relies on it now to run.

I've been a loyal Dragon user for many many years and it's awful to have to revert to Google Chrome because Dragon has slipped so far behind now in versions.

Version 63 has just been released. Could you try the games again and if they crash please consider to file a bug report on those crashes in the bug report section following the bug reporting guidelines?

Took me a while to find where you had moved my post to. Not sure why here but hey any old drawer will do I guess.

Yes thank you the new Version 63.0.3239.108 (32-bit) does indeed fix the issues with both games.

We keep requests, inquiries and complaints about Dragon not being up to date in one place. Both Comodo Dragon and IceDragon browsers will always be behind on it's peers unless Comodo decides to put more resources in the development.

Glad to hear the update fixed it for you. If the problems would have persisted I would have asked to file a bug report on them.
