Transparency of COMODO Applications
« on: February 27, 2019, 06:38:39 PM »
If COMODO is going to whitelist their own applications within CIS, it's important for me to understand the distinct purpose for each of the COMODO Internet Security applications:
  • cmdinstall.exe
  • cfpconfg.exe
  • cistray.exe
  • cis.exe
  • cmdagent.exe
  • cmdvirth.exe
  • cavwp.exe

Furthermore, if these applications access the internet, I need to know what kind of information they're communicating to each IP address, and I want to know all the IP addresses and ports to which they communicate, as well as the protocols they utilize.

Moreover, I should be able to force the encryption of all communication (HTTPS for instance).

Thank you,

np

Huh?  I'm sorry, but I don't understand what you're trying to say.

Are you responding to my previous post, or are you talking about something else entirely?

Thank you,

np
