Wow this is great to have, right from the start. Good work guys & girls, very nice.
I do like the Cyan and Indigo GUI...

And if you don't mind, not to have the notification arery in CIS v.5
( the one in the left side, of the new GUI = System Status ),
you can still use the old Themes ( or Skins ) from CIS v.4..

So you can modify for your own likening, the Skin or size of the letters, etc..
( also in the Sys tray message )
This is only to modify the GUI, not the functions.
( no change in the Sys Tray Icon yet though )

< Maybe this could be possible some day.?(in a small version)

Eg. Aero Vista Gold Normal from the Aero Vista - kopie.theme and
SignsR Normal from the Signs.theme, it looks like this. ( SignsR i red and SignsT is blue )

You can get it here, in Comodo Forum ( CIS_skins.7z = it's a 7zip file, can also opens with WinRAR )
http://forums.comodo.com/empty-t41373.0.html

Or the URL Link to direct Download, to the .7z file, is this.
https://forums.comodo.com/index.php?action=dlattach;topic=39248.0;attach=33921

Put it in here  >  C:\Program Files\COMODO\COMODO Internet Security\themes
Works in Windows XP / Vista / and Windows 7.

Best regards Ohke and Thanks again, for all this GUI options, to a Great Firewall.
Hope you can use it.

hello Ohke,
the draw of the icon taskbar you posted for comodo looks great !
I wish it was the default comodo icon as it's very clear,
some dark icon with green and red lights, it's the best way to see the trafic animation.
the actual icon colors are not that nice, some red icon with little yellow and green arrows are not that clear.

anyway, I like a lot the lime theme ;-)
It's my default color now.

[at] ailef > Yes you have totally right about this Tray Icon, it should bee in another color.
Red i not the best color as background, because red, cyan, blue, green and yellow only makes it more blurred,
for the human eye, it's almost an optical illusion when you put these colors together.

We are not the only one's that say that :
CIS Icon's Color in Windows Tray is Sub-Optimum
http://forums.comodo.com/wishlist-cis/advices-for-d-event-t64438.0.html;prev_next=next

I truly hopes, there is a Comodo Coder or a nice Skin designer, there is willing to think a little further on this minor problem.
Because all people in this world, don't see the same when these colors is put together.
But the Animated Gif Foto, i don't can take credit for, it's not me who made it, i think i found this on a old tread,
here in Comodo Forum, some years ago.

< Maybe this could be possible some day.?(in a small version)

There was a awesome Skin there for XP and this GIF was there to, but I can't find it again.
I've just search the Forum, for some hours to find it again, with no luck at all.
Also on my PC, for photos and old Links to, still no luck. :)

But if you want some nice Icon's for your Desktop to Comodo Firewall, try this Link :

Thank you very much for your hard work, Missy! I downloaded the trial version of Restorator, as it was mentioned by someone as the software to use to modify these themes. I thought I'd try my hand at doing these and also see if I can find where, if possible, to modify the system tray icon. I also hate the red for the same reason as it is for other people, as it makes me think there's an alert.

Please let me know if Restorator is the correct software to use. If not, and you're willing to share information, I'd like to know what software you use to create/modify these themes. Thanks again!
kat

Yeah. Restorator is the program I used. BUT the tray icon is NOT in the theme file. It is in the cfp.dll file. It can be changed using Restorator BUT then due to the main program not recognizing the signature of the altered dll file, you will ALWAYS be prompted to download an update, which then overwrites the edited dll file. Quite futile until Comodo themselves change the tray icon ...
