betanews?
« on: August 10, 2006, 11:07:30 AM »
I did a search and couldnt find anything about Comodo there.
I think it would be a good idea to post Comodo Firewall betas there. To spread the word.
I have found many good programs from betanews, many "geeks" like me check that site regulary.

Unless you have a policy not releasing open betas of course.

Hi and welcome,

As far as I know betas are only released to forum members.  You could send a PM to Melih (Comodo's CEO) to see what he thinks of the idea.

Even though I would agree that would get us more users, but we would loose the valuable feedback for our product and interaction with beta users. Through our forum members we have been doing very well with getting feedback and acting on it. also beta has no update mechanism, which means anyone who downloads it would be effectively on their own.

So at the moment I think we will stick to the forums.
Thank you for the suggestion though Sukarof, i really appreciate it and welcome to Comodo :-)
