Same problem for me. Everything seemed to work before I shut down and rebooted. I have tried my password at the checkered screen and pressed enter with no luck. Keyboard seems locked and I am not receiving the prompt to enter the password, which I did select on the options screen. Please help. I do have a backup, but would prefer not to do a clean install.
