"Waiting for extension Online Security Pro", forever

Comodo Dragon comes with several preinstalled extensions, one of them being Online Security Pro. A few months ago it developed a habit of freezing for random periods of time, from 5-10 seconds to forever. Turning said extension off and back on seems to help, but not for long. I'm pretty sure it's a server-side problem, yet... Any suggestions?

Comodo Dragon: always the latest, currently 70.0.3538.110 (64-bit)
Windows: 7 SP1 64-bit
Antivirus: tried Avira, Avast, turning it off completely. No difference.
Firewall: Privatefirewall 7.0. Again, tried turning it off. Helps nothing.
