Upgrade HDD?

Just wondering what the benefits of upgrading my laptop HDD would be? The options are sticking with HDD ie WD black,  SSD or SSHD?
Any advice appreciated thanks.

opening / loading times applications start times / response times and read/write speeds if your motherboard interface sata3 or newer

In terms of CIS, moving to an SSD should stop HIPS from causing noticeable frame spikes in games.

Wonder if this got forgotten about.
