Is there something like firewall rule for folders?
« on: December 13, 2018, 09:42:52 AM »
Hello, it would be handy if I could per-folder assign a blocking/allowing firewall rule for all existing/future applications in this location, e.g. block internet for everything within Windows %temp% folder and it's subfolders. Usually there only operate malicious softwares and generally unwanted things. Instead of blocking manually each single process trying to connect from there, I want to set up only one rule and done. I wonder if there's something like that with Comodo?

When creating a rule you can add a * at the end of the file path to apply the rule to the whole folder. c:\example\*
| Win 10 Pro (x64) | UAC Disabled | CCAV | Intel i7 4770k | Asus Maximus VI Formula Mobo | Asus GeForce GTX 780 | G.Skill TridentX 32gb RAM | Samsung 850 Pro SSD |

You can also make use of file groups.
