Comodo and Wireguard protocol
« on: June 21, 2020, 10:58:33 AM »
Hi everybody,

I have a question regarding Comodo and Wireguard. Am I correct that it is not possible to filter Wireguard traffic via Comodo Firewall?

I am testing various VPN providers who all offer Wireguard. The problem is that when Wireguard is activated the VPN app creates a network connection (similar to a TAP adapter) and in this connection the Comodo Internet Security Firewall Driver is not included and I am not able to install it. So the whole traffic during VPN with Wireguard is not "firewalled".

Tested on Win10 64 Bit with Comodo CIS 10, 11 and latest 12.

If you need more details  please let me know.

It seems to be a problem with Wireguard itself: Comodo Firewall Doesn't filter WireGuard VPN tunneling

[at]Ploget: Thank you, I was not aware of that thread. I hope that will be a solution otherwise Wireguard is going to be more than useless, for me at least.

You're welcome. I hope it can be fixed also . . . it's certainly a problem with the few good trustworthy VPN providers
