A. The bug/issue
- What you did: Install V6
- What actually happened or you actually saw: After installing CES v 6. I enabled the firewall. I can ping IP’s & names, but that seems about it. Cannot telnet to port 80 on google.com. This has happened on multiple PC’s at various times and never reported it yet.
- What you expected to happen or see: Normal Internet access
- How you tried to fix it & what happened: Toggled alerts on/off, disabled ARP Protect & Proto inspection, rebooted. Tried uninstall/reinstall. All works if firewall is disabled or IP Stack filter is deselected from Network Properties
- If its a software compatibility problem have you tried the compatibility fixes (link in format)?:N/A
- Details & exact version of any software (execpt CIS) involved (with download link unless malware): Windows 7
- Whether you can make the problem happen again, and if so exact steps to make it happen: Yes, Enable Firewall Component
- Any other information (eg your guess regarding the cause, with reasons): Issue in IP Stack Driver. 3G Broadband via dongle is also affected

- OS version, service pack, number of bits, UAC setting, & account type: Win7 Pro SP1, 64 bit, UAC off, Admin

- Other security software previously installed at any time since Windows was last installed: None
- Virtual machine used (Please do NOT use Virtual box): None
