Step 2: Collect and install your certificate

At first I had setup a private address to use the comodo certification. I set the certificate to use a Is Private Key ‘User-Protected’? and entered my password, using MECPv1. The system accepted everything, but have yet to receive or been able to install a certificate. I’ve also completed this with an alternate email with the same result…

It’s been a couple weeks and yet I’ve been unable to obtain my certificate.

Do you mean that you have not applied for a certificate?

Or that you haven’t received one after applying?

Remember to us IE when you apply and collect your certificate.

As previously stated, yes, I have applied for two certificates. However, am not able to proceed to step 2, as your site states.

I checked my email again and for some reason, the email from Comodo was flagged as spam by gmail.

I suggest you to send email to support@comodo.com, mentioning your two email address. So that, the problem can be solved easily.

Why doesn’t the page detect browser type?

Our developers are working on it,
As of now email certificate can be applied and collected from
Internet Explorer 5.5 or above.
