VBA timestamp
« on: August 15, 2007, 03:42:20 PM »
I have been successful in using my new Comodo certificate to sign a VBA project in MS Access but I am unable to place a timestamp on the project. I made the registry entries for VBA to point to http://timestamp.comodoca.com/authenticode

HKEY_Current_User\Software\Microsoft\\VBA\Security\TimeStampURL

It does not seem to collect a timestamp from that URL. Is there a special URL for timestamping VBA Projects?

TIA

Hi,

The time stamping URL is the same for all authenticode based projects.

I would recommend also setting the below values in the registy:-

timestampretrycount
timestampretrydelay

I would try setting both to 5.

If this still does not resolve the problem I would advise to submit a ticket through to the support desk with more details on the process you are following and they should be able to look into this further for you.

The ticketing system can be found on the below URL.

https://support.comodo.com/

kind regards

Anthony
