You can either turn off embedded code detection for python or you can create a firewall application rule for the script and an auto-containment ignore rule for qbittorrent.

For the firewall rule you can create a file group with a path of C:\ProgramData\Comodo\Cis\tempscrpt\* and use that file group for the firewall rule to allow outgoing access.

You Can't for now,
But this wish is verified and have been moved to Verified Wish page, but you can still go there and vote.

Could anyone please provide step-by-step instructions? I think I did what it says in https://forums.comodo.com/index.php?action=post;quote=858243;topic=119371.0;last_msg=864537 but COMODO still insists on blocking python invoked by qbittorrent.

step-by-step instructions

Open Comodo IS (internet security) window > Settings > Advanced Protection > Miscellaneous -> these applications > Add > Files > select any file > edit newly added entry by setting this path: C:\ProgramData\Comodo\Cis\tempscrpt\*.py

That path is valid for MS Windows 10, i discovered right path when i clicked the process name in the Comodo pop-up window (prompt to allow connection).

Thanks. I'll test it out the next time I'll have to deal with it.

That won't do anything and is not the correct what to turn off embedded code detection for python.

Go to script analysis and disable embedded-code detection for python.exe and pythonw.exe

Since this is a must on any of my system after re-installation (of either the system or COMODO CIS) I've prepared a quick instruction set based on futuretech's recommendation:
Qbittorrent and python.exe problem
Settings > Advanced... > Script... >
[V] Perform... (is checked by default already)
but in the table you need to disable Runtime detection > Embedded code... for: python.exe AND pythonw.exe

Bucic,

Are you also adding Qbittorrent to the runtime detection list? I'm wondering if that would be a good idea for any BitTorrent client.

No, I didn't do that. I've never done anything more than the described minimum to make Qbittorrent work i.e. what I wrote in post https://forums.comodo.com/defense-sandbox-help-cis/qbittorrent-and-pythonexe-t119371.0.html;msg892184#msg892184

OK, I understand. I was just wondering if that would make for a more secure system.
