I'm gonna like the new security toolbar, but

can it be called something else?  Basicly ANY OTHER WORD but "toolbar" because it has a bad reputation name to it and common perception of adware built in.
think of the famous "ask toolbar"  "google toolbar" "mywebsearchtoolbar"
It's hard being a crooked Admin when the files won't pass an md5checksum test.  But like any other good crooked Admin it can be done, it just takes time(and lots of it) and a few aspirins

Yep, but it won't adware toolbar, just security toolbar, which will be scan site for malware and other.

I would prefer it if it were not a toolbar, but an icon that you can drag to your bookmarks bar (or wherever) similar to the WOT extension/plugin.

Nice idea, toolbar, icon ,whatever :)
Maybe add to this toolbar/addon options to block pop ups, adds and other annoying things when you're browsing the net?

If I took a million dollar guess, it's because downloading malware won't effect your computer, only when executed.   I believe its  for websites that infects you by just visiting the website (you don't even have to do anything, just going to the webpage is enough to get you infected)  <---That's what I believe site-inspector is about.

It does work, because I gave it some sites that will infect you for just looking around on the webpage.

spot on..

There is a difference between

1)Malicious site
2)A site that hosts malware files

Malicious site is an active attacker.....
A site that hosts malware is just like a storage that stores bad things that can't attack you.

Greetings all,

Melih,

The similar question was asked many times in different places in the forum
The correct answers were given by you , Jay , me & many other users here numerous times

It seems to me that the the main page with the description of the service lacking clear  explanation

It would be nice & appreciated if that's  being reviewed and the transparent clause added so anyone can just refer to that clause  instead of having repetitions of the "correct answers" ( the later was a repetition as well ...see above    :D)

Cheers!
