I would like a web-based portal to enable and view location of the device, lock the device, and wipe the device. This would be very useful especially with the limited SMS ability since Android 4.4.

Would be nice if it could use an SD card to store backups or scan it for virus ...

As noted in your other thread,  CMS does scan the external SD card.
It helps, btw, to include you phone and firmware specs when posting an issue.
Thank you.

I don't know if it has been said before, but :

A privacy manager, not only advisor, is so much needed .

Like LBE or others, to be able to deny granulary permissions per app etc

Is it on the roadmap for next update ?

Hi.

I'm getting lot of scam phone calls now days sometime even 10 a day and sometime they just go really crazy and constantly ring my phone saying "I had an accident and they have compensation for me". Yes sure. I even got the famous "Can you hear me?" phone call a few times they are pretending they have a bad line or I have a bad line or they ask me a simple question as soon as I answer the phone only to get me say "yes".
I turned my phone off for two weeks to see if they give up but they did not. As soon as I turned my phone on, I got a phone call in abut 30 minutes.

I heard rumors about you can get rid off scammers and marketers if you play a modem sound because then they think or their system thinks in case it a robo call they called a modem or a bad number and they remove the number from their list. I'm trying to figure out a way to try this but I don't want to mess up my voicemail and could not find any app that would do that for me and be ready with a recorder all they just in case I got a call would be too much trouble.

So here is my request. Could you add an option to Comodo in addition to blocking a number to answer the call for the selected number and play a modem sound for the caller if that is true to work.
Or even better how about to play "the number is not recognized" voice then they would really think it a bad number.
In case we could make it so to do it for all incoming numbers maybe add a few exceptions then it would have even higher chance of success since they might realize if it ringed for the first time then it must be a trick....
I could turn it on for all incoming phone calls for a few days so in case they try from a different number they get the same result and hope for the best.

Thank you.

Hi ddabrahim

Actually, that's an interesting feature we'll be evaluating to add to our roadmap.

We're appreciating your contributions.

First, thank you for continuing development on the CMS platform. As more people are using mobile devices for their internet activities, I feel this is an extremely important area.

My question: Will website filtering (phishing detection, etc.) be enabled in CMS in a future release? It looks like the framework is in place as there is the option to allow CMS access in accessibility service setting on the phone. However, CMS never asks for this permission on its own. If you click the Secure icon, the My Device summary shows Websites Monitored, but it does not seem to be functional.

Thanks!

Hi.

I'm still getting lot of scam phone calls, tried everything :(
They seem to try even number spoofing, I block their number but then it still come through anyway. I guess it is because the number displayed and their real caller ID is different or I don't know why.

Would you be able to add the option to Comodo to block ALL incoming calls and messages and allow only selected numbers including private and unknown numbers? Fortunately, all the scam calls displaying a caller ID but I get local calls in some case from private or unknown number which I do want to come through and the selected numbers of friends, colleges an family and I do want to block everything else...
So what I would like to have essentially is a whitelist with the option to add any number I want including private and unknown number to ALLOW incoming calls from and block everything else.

I'm really tired of this scam calls, no rush but could you release this update by tomorrow please? I would even consider purchasing CMS if it would have this feature.
Did try other call blocking apps with a whitelist but most of them are bloated with everything, slow my device down a lot, keep pushing ads in to my face, want me to be online 24/7, share my entire contact list with some sort of cloud service, connect to my social media accounts..etc...ridiculous. All I want is an offline whitelist with selected numbers to allow and block everything else :(

Thanks in advance.

Hello, in version 3.5.4001 but the web protection (I find malicious sites and phishing) really works?
In the accessibility settings there is the possibility to activate it, so COMODO Mobile Security should protect against malicious sites, but I am not very sure.
Phishing sites are not blocked and then appear pop ads and strange sites that report presences (obviously not true) of viruses and more.

So the web protection is there or is not it?

Thank you.
Nunzio.
