How do I uninstall this app?

I can’t deactivate it since its grayed out and it keeps sapping my CPU and causing my power and causing my phone to overheat.

This has been asked before.
To uninstall CMS try the following:

  1. Settings/Security/Device Administrators/Comodo Mobile Security/Deactivate
  2. Settings/Apps/Comodo Mobile Security/Uninstall.

Force Stop and Uninstall are grayed out in Application Manager.

First, did you deactivate CMS as an Administrator?

I am not really new to Android. In Android 4.4 I am going to Setup>Security>Administration and checking Comodo, I understand that you need to turn off the administrative rights before you can uninstall it. BUT the deactivate button doesn’t do anything… Comodo is overheating my phone and making it crash… I have to work fast. WHAT am I missing?? Will re-flashing the phone get rid of this??? AM I MISSING SOMETHING HERE??? I never DREAMED I would have so much trouble getting rid of an app…

To uninstall the app causing CPU drain and overheating on your phone, go to your device’s settings, navigate to the “Apps” or “Applications” section, locate the problematic app, and select “Uninstall.” :slightly_smiling_face:

If the “Deactivate” option is grayed out, uninstalling should effectively remove the app and alleviate the CPU and overheating issues.
