Can DiskShield change cache files' location?
« on: December 15, 2008, 11:09:40 AM »
Normally this kind of app, when they protect a partition ,the cache files will be located at the same partition.Does DiskShield allow use to change the location? If it does, it will be fantastic, because this way you can change it to a ramdisk achieving real memory caching.

I am keenfor this feature too.
Same reason, to help current low end SSD Drive limitations.
Would the Cache/Overlay be able to be put on a fast USB stick?
Kingston has a 40mb/s one.
Or would it have to be a real hdd, as it needs to be mounted early on in the boot process.
