250 million. A quarter of a billion. Any way you slice it, it’s a big number. And it’s the number of emails that Comodo’s cornerstone antispam solution Comodo Antispam Gateway (ASG), has filtered for its customers.
If each email ASG filtered was printed out to be one standard page, then piled on top of each other they would form a tower of paper 19 miles high, surpassing more than 104,000 feet.
Of the quarter of a billion emails filtered by Comodo ASG, more than 175 million were found to be spam and over 1.2 million viruses were blocked by ASG.
“Cyber criminals today count on the most business-critical tool, email, as a way to penetrate corporate IT environments - and Comodo ASG has successfully filtered and blocked those attempts over a quarter of a billion times,” said Michél Bechard, Director of Service Provider Technologies at Comodo.
Comodo ASG is a pre-perimeter defense for on-premise or hosted mail servers that defends against spam, phishing emails and virus-infected attachments, helping to keep corporate use of email safe and protected.
