Hello,

I am trying to look at the firewall logs Comodo generates, however,  Comodo will not show any logs for anything other then “today” date. I have set the filter to "last 7 days" "last 30 days" but all it will display is results for today. Any idea how to get Comodo to filter for more then just "today" results?

Thanks for your help,
Dyslextic

Hi and welcome,

If you've only just changed the settings you won't see the logs for the last 7/30 days because CPF has only been remembering todays.  Leave the setting on 7/30 for a few days and you should see more logs for these days.

Ah, so it's not a filter per say... but a measurement of how much to write to (or keep in) the logs?

Hello,

Ahh I see how that works. My next question is, how would you read the firewall logs, looking for events over some period of time? I have found where the firewall logs are written too but the raw logs files are not store in the friendly, readable version. I was hoping that Comodo could display past entries store in the logs files. It would be nice to view all the events that have happen in the last 7, 15, 30, etc days.

Thanks for your help,

That's a good suggestion, add it to the latest CPF Wishlist in the CPF Forum.

Hi Guys,

When you right click on logs grid, you will see an option to export logs to an HTML file. That should help you.

Does the export group the log entries by Today, 7, 30?  That's awesome if it does.

Yep. According to the log scope selected.

Sweet!

 (V)

Just started with the Beta today, exported log files to html and it did show for 30 days and I second the motion,

 SWEET! ;D

Does ZA or the others do that? I never saw this option in any of them. This is too great!  Every time I think I know everything about a comodo product, it keeps surprising me and I like it even more! I alway brag up Comodo but I also would like to say Thank you for this free awesome software!
