It seems that I found the reason of this:

I start Windows and eMule, and everything works fine.
If I test CPF on Shields UP! and Sygate Online, than CPF change to emergency mode.
After this I can't get High ID again on eMule. Only after restart the Windows...
So, it seems that after the emergency mode, CPF doesn't care about other rules...

Emergency mode: 120 seconds.
This is the log when I try to connect eMule, after 10 minutes:

I know, but after the emergency time, it should care about the rules, and it doesn't, so something is worng with the Network Monitor...

What are your network monitor rules?

Ok so according to your rules, CPF only blocks incoming ICMP messages. Can you activate "Create an alert when this rule is fired" option for all network monitor rules so that we can see wats going on?

According to these logs, Emergency mode has nothing to do with your Emule ID. In such a case, does restarting eMule help? Or if you set allow all, could you get high id?

I have a workstation running Windows server 2003. CPF 2.2 runs fine on it. I installed the CPF 2.3 beta and none of the protection components will start. I get the error message that reinstalling it may fix it when it starts. I have uninstalled and reinstalled with the same results. I do like the new installer.

Restart eMule doesn't help.
I only get High ID, if I disable the Network Monitor or if I restart the Windows.

I will try to put Allow in all the rules, but only at night I can do that...

Any ideas why it can slow down network games? Next to the firewall i have too much lag at games like Shattered galaxy. I've specified a rule for the game's SG.EXE. Besides, even by useing OSMode 3 (had reboot, no other firewalls :)) the computer at home is still very slow.

Another:
I just don't know why there's no checkbox as a "Don't ask it again".

Just to make sure there wasn't some other conflict, I installed the beta on another Windows 2003 machine with the same results. None of the protection components can be activated. I uninstalled and went back to the current stable version and it works fine. I was hoping to test the beta.

These machines are not being used as servers. I use Win 2003 because I have the licenses and it is much more resource friendly for me, than WIndows XP.

In the new issue of PC magazine, Comodo is the editors choice for best firewall. This might get a lot more people using it.  ;D

Vampiric what emule are you using? Maybe it has to do with your emule mod. As I have mentioned on other topics I never had a problem with low id

Pandlouk,

I'm using eMule 0.47a MorphXT 8.13 Beta 7, and in OS Mode = 3...

Very strange that now this doesn't happen, but if happened again, I will report...
