On mine the wizard recognices correctly my network.
After I used the OS mode=3 I also see the pop-up ( do you want to close CPF? Yes, No) when shutting down or rebooting. With OS Mode=0 it did not appear.

On Windows Startup, CPF auto open the its folder on Windows Explorer.
Turning Off the Windows, I received a dialog message that CPF is about to close...

CPF is always asking me the same security alerts, when I start my browser!

This is making me crazy! :(

I will disable the Application Monitor until this been fixed.

If you need more info...

Please show us the same popups you are seeing by sending the screenshots of at least 2 of them so that we can see what is going on.

Thx,

To avoid this very annoying issue, I had to remove all the rules of Opera in 'Application Monitor'...

Question:
The 'cpf.exe' should run on windows startup?
I have an entrie, on registry for that, but 'cpf.exe' only starts when I launch it from Launch Pad...

Opera 9.0.8505

Hmmm. It seems CPF can not calculate the file signature. This may be because access to Opera.exe is denied somehow. It would be helpful if we could understand the following :

- Does this case occur for all applications or just for Opera.exe?
- When automatically approve safe applications is selected, does this case still happen?
- Does this occur under a non-admin account?
- What other security software do you use? Can you disable them and retry?
- Can you also paste me the full path of opera.exe?

Thanks for the cooperation,

Egemen

Until now only with Opera...

When automatically approve safe applications is selected, does this case still happen?
I have it enabled by default...

Can you also paste me the full path of opera.exe?
D:\Program Files\Opera\Opera.exe

But my default path for programs is "P:\"

I have just updated the message.

I don't know if you read the post #41 of this topic, but I delete all the entries of Opera, on Application Monitor, and now I don't have the problem.

I'm using an Admin account.
