As for the CFP tray icon - the only way to make any icon in the system tray bigger is to probably increase the DPI, but I don't remember.  Still, how much more larger can it be within the restrictions of Windows Explorer?

No, the version 2 tray icon is just right. The square box with the arrows. Is that how the new version will look too then?

This is up to the devs and CFPV3 is Skinable So there could be skin with theses try icons

if not it would be possible to create one yourself

When things go wrong, and they usually will, and your daily road, seems all uphill, when machines are down, and tempers high, when you try to smile, but can only cry,and you really feel you'd like to quit, don't run to me I don't give a sh*t.

You give me way too much credit on thinking I could make one myself. ;)

Thank you for the help, sir. ;)

Well, we don't have to make them ourselves.  It'll be fun once we get the artists out there to make them (and hopefully for the animated traffic indicats as well) :D.  Actually, this is something no one has thoroughly thought out yet: once the final is out, what will be the best way to open up skins created by members?  A separate thread or board to download from (like uTorrent has, for example)?

Beleieve it or not, I really like the version 2 skin. It is pleasant to look at and easy to get around it. I hope someone comes up with a skin like that one for version 3.

About the tray icon - could we get a + on it to show that the Defense+ portion is active?  People who want to have it inactivated would also want to have a visual clue that the HIPS is not on (no +).  There is no reminder if you turn off the HIPS for some function, but want to have it on otherwise.
What do you mean, my shoes are on the wrong feet???  These are the only feet I've got!

There were problems with Internet Connection Sharing and CFP.
Was it solved in RC1 ?

i installed it on a 32 bit vista OS, pentium 4 dual core (3.0ghz), 2 gig ram and pc would not boot up, any other firewall installed had been uninstalled in advance of the installation. i bought my vista pc in early march this year, and have no interest in waiting any longer for a stable comodo, the other firewall i had used was available in april and passes all tests, so i'll stick with that one.

Before you install a beta or RC of any program you must be prepared on some bugs. Thats the whole point of beta testing...
If you want to use a stable firewall, you can just use v. 2.4 that has been out for a long time.

I don't think version 2.4 is Vista compatible is it?

However Ricky the finished v3.0 should be here in the next few days,it might well be worth giving it a run once it's completed. It really seems to offer an amazing degree of security.  :Beer

No it isn't... I didn't see that he had Vista...
He have to wait (until tomorrow?) or use another firewall.

How about no skin? That's always the best. Make the GUI native, and it can fit into any Windows version instead of sticking out like a sore thumb.
