usb problem with version
« on: June 28, 2008, 05:55:12 AM »
After installing CFP version (I've been using CFP almost from the very start of this application), any appliance: memory stick, camera, web camera , etc., when plugged in to any USB port, causes crash of the system and causes its automatic restart. When CFP is uninstalled, everything becomes operational. This started only with this version of CFP. I'm using XP Home 2SP, 1 GB RAM

This sounds like a driver problem....hmmm.... maybe there are some hidden drivers left from previous versions that is causing conflicts with *real* drivers for hardware like usb hardware and stuff... anyways try run the batch file on this page...

Maybe the best is sticking with some old versions, because it is known that this version has some bugs... like you mentioned here...
