Three days ago I updated from the previous working version of CCE to v2.4.225190.192. When run, the program prompted for update. I ran it. The download ran like treacle (hours, not minutes to run) and eventually stopped at 45% but reported 100/100 mb downloaded. I left it alone. Eventually it reported a server error. Same again on the next two attempts. A manual download of bases.cav downloaded in the time it took me to write this. Now to test whether I can import this direct.
I do confirm this problem. I’ve the very same issue on my PC today.
Very first time I installed CCE under Windows 7 Pro x86.
