How about a "report suspicious items button"

It's hard being a crooked Admin when the files won't pass an md5checksum test.  But like any other good crooked Admin it can be done, it just takes time(and lots of it) and a few aspirins

Am I just missing it or is there no option to ignore a detected file?

I understand not providing removal capabilities as it is meant to encourage users to use Live PC Support, but there has to be an option to ignore. Right?

Charming.  If Comodo releases system cleaner like products which behave like Dch48 mentioned then it is some kind of meanness against users.

Hello,

In this moment there is no option to ignore, but I will take into consideration this feature for future releases.

Thank you.

How about being able to scan for vulnerabilities, windows and software updates (just like CVA did). CVA is such an important/usefull product.

What a terrible product this is! I ran it and it says the following things are suspicious:

My ATI video drivers and control panel
Synaptics Touchpad drivers
HP Quick Play and all it's associated files
My mouse driver control panel
kernel32
Some Direct X files including d3d9.dll
All cookies, including the ones from these forums
And many others, too numerous to mention, none of which are detected by any other product.

It said I had 935 "problems", none of which I would think about removing with anything but what I already use as cleanup apps. I removed the problem all right, I quickly uninstalled CCS.

From what i've heard, they have a little bug in it for the moment. Every program that is not signed, not from microsoft or not in the whitelist is listed as suspicious (extreme form of default deny  ;D). It should be fixed in the next release.

Please correct me if I'm wrong,
eXp

not from microsoft
For the 3 screen shots that I reported here.  It flagged the microsoft files. (like svchost.exe)

If it helps narrow the problem for flagging microsoft files
My windows 7 86x was a RTM version (Released To Manufacture)  NOT the Retail one

As CCS uses signatures online, couldn't the actual product (CCS) be based online too? No need to download and update to newer versions then.

My wish is hoping comodo won't use MD-5 checksum.   Would like SHA-256 checksum

From http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MD5
Quote
US-CERT of the U. S. Department of Homeland Security said MD5 "should be considered cryptographically broken and unsuitable for further use,"[7] and most U.S. government applications will be required to move to the SHA-2 family of hash functions by 2010.[8]
Basicly it;s also saying SHA-1 will be unsuitable

Just an idea, that may have not been thought of :)

I dont find this software useful, is just like another privacy and registry cleaner with an antimalware scanner without removal capabilitis of any of this, but you have to pay for... Live PC support
