I like the "safe delete" option but it takes more than just a successful reboot to convince me that all the removed entries were genuine.

I'd like a third option on the pop-up window on re-boot that lets me defer making a decision until I've had a chance to test everything. Perhaps make the pop-up come back every hour asking again to "finalise", "defer" or "restore".

When it updates it should not steal focus away from other programs.

A facility to delete the details of websites visited stored by macromedia flash player (in privacy tab), as per the below given link, which at present are not deleted by CSC.

I'm a new user and like CSC. Please add the ability to clean/replace locked or system files such as "index.dat." Thanks

i wish to not get forced to reboot after each cleaning
also i would like to clean again before rebooting
sometimes i clean some privaticy stuff and then i use windows without restart and maybe i would like to clean again but then it is telling me that i have first to reboot the machine before i can use the cleaner function again
from that perspectiv CCleaner is much cooler Smiley
there i can clean and clean and clean again without reboot
just simple

and please explain the functions better at least in your help file
what are theese USB or what ever settings what are they doing and why are they better or not?

at the moment a manual registry tweak makes more sence to me because on that i know what happens in opposide to the CSC settings

for example i did remoce the startmenu delay manualy
now CSC tells me that i can check this option
so CSC is not proofing if i did it manualy or not it just assumes that i did not
and if i ceck this setting now ... what will happen in that case?
will it set the menu delay to 0 or will it sett the delay now to default or what?
and wha if i would like to shorten the delay but not set it to zero?

some functions are realy odd and some functions or its help is clear like dirty water
i mean after reading the help i still have no idea of what maybe will happen and less what it will do

i wish you will make this more clear to just normal users
else i prefer a manual registry edit

Hi

This wish mainly applies to the portable version for use with computers on a domain.

When taking backups of registry, etc it would be usefull to add the hostname of the computer (as well as date/time) being scanned. Not that I've needed to restore any backups yet but there is no way of telling which computer had been scanned if a restore was required.

You don't have to reboot after cleaning you can turn safe delete off in settings.

It's hard being a crooked Admin when the files won't pass an md5checksum test.  But like any other good crooked Admin it can be done, it just takes time(and lots of it) and a few aspirins

I saw one other post for this--asking for info on a workaround.  But I did not see an answer.  If Dragon's "Clear Browsing Data" already removes everything, making it unnecessary to add Dragon to Privacy Cleaner application list, please say so.  If Dragon's "CBD" does not, then please add Dragon to the list and/or tell those interested the workaround to do this.

Thanks!
