What about "smart" hips like ThreatFire. I like defense+ and I even wriote about it on my computer blog and also I am sure it is very strong but all those pop ups simply drive me away. If there was a way to make its algorithm like TF's...

Will the Time Machine thing effectively replace the need for something like Acronis True Image?

Not sure about CTM, but I'm pretty sure something else will.  Wink

Either this was posted in the mod board, or I didn't see a post indicating it... Smiley

Could you point me to the post (if it is publicly available)?  I'm terrible at searching.  Grin

From my understanding (highly unreliable) Comodo time machine is based upon the Mac time machine concept.

http://www.apple.com/macosx/features/timemachine.html

There's another thing in development that's more akin to the likes of Acronis TI (hope I'm ok mentioning this).

Good enough reason to be a mod.  Smiley

Say, can you tell me when they said they were planning/working on this?  (Sometimes the older the post, the sooner it should come. Grin)

Yeah being a mod has it's upside with these things. Grin
Well I'd best not say too much since I can't remember if Melih said to keep it hush hush or not (If you did sorry Melih). But I can say I've tried out a version of this a couple of months ago and it was functioning ok.It should appear sooner rather than later I'd say. Wink

*Update* Just checked and Melih did say it was ok to mention this,it's got the name Comodo Ghost at the moment. Also a recent update report states that this will form a part of a greater backup utility, all very interesting.
