Users can't make definitions that Comodo could approve. But you can help sending in malware that Comodo doesn't detect (properly). That way Comodo can create signatures.

Yo there

Anyone of you guys know an app like "McAfee SiteAdvisor"?

It marks web links as safe or unsafe...

I would like to see similar stuff but developed by Comodo.

It can be even integrated with CIS 4...

Good idea...don't you think???

Best regards

Hi sebatbg,

I personally don't think that it's necessary (especially “integrated” one , as you wrote)

Community ratings are “Ok” ...  Undecided but...
anyway, you can use existing ones - the one you mentioned; + Symantec's ... etc.;

add WOT; Finjan to your browser;

add more security  to your browser like NoScript; RequestPolicy, ... and so on

add Dr.Web links-checker – this one is checking the code of the pages which is much better than community ratings

Despite all of the above (except RequestPolicy) can produce FPs, that would be sufficient enough.

Plus there is Comodo's Site Inspector as well already

In addition here are similar discussions here in the forum.

First I greatly appreciate your firewall. I've used several others and hooked onto this because this offers a really comprehensive alerts (without just saying some program wants to access internet) giving the user user-friendly information on the alert. And the UI is also Great. Hope to have constant updates. Smiley

Which Product to develop next?
I prefer that you develop a Flash Drive and other Removable storage Control software that can monitor autoruns and open them in a safe environment within your software. so that malicious programs wont be set off unintentionally by the user. For an example if you get a flash drive  from your friend and not sure to plug it in directly you can do it in this software and have a peace of mind

Hi Xartz,

There were several similar discussions here in the forum.

here is quite recent short thread

Basically there are tons of instructions & "how to" disable Autoruns and many special free Utilities
There was an update by Microsoft few months ago regarding fixing one of the bugs in that area, so there is MS article as well.
I hope you will find the links by googling. If not please tell

My regards

I'll be a verry happy if Comodo Company make hims Antivirus more better.
Still i can't use it becouse have a too much FP.
FP is a verry dengerous.
My wish is to use a Great Firewall with Antivirus from the same Company- Comodo.

How about a product that graphically allows people to link to the computers and peripherals they want in their network and automatically set the appropriate Rules for the firewall so they don't have to manually enter every little thing to get the firewall to work properly with their home network.

Hi shadowRider,

As far as I know Comodo Firewall does that  automatically when you set "auto-detect Network Zone".

I cannot imagine what else you mean by "graphically", since you can see all that on your display already when your home LAN is set up.

Other things depend on what firewalls are installed currently on other computer(s)
and what Applications are running there and respectively the Application Rules that are set there already.

Probably you may tell us in more details what you mean.

For example when my friends are coming here and connecting their laptops to my router that is preferable that no rules are created "automatically"
In addition only  2 of guys have Comodo on their laptops, but others don't use it
(Online Armor; Outpost ....etc.)

So whatever Apps. we want to run and what folders are currently has to be shared and so on... have to be set. Similar is for your home  Network.

But again, probably I got your suggestion wrongly and you'll clarify that

My regards
