i'd avoid the word "gator"
that's a well known spyware.  not a good association.

when i think of comodo, i think of the komodo dragon.
if you want a different brand name, but one that kept with general feeling of your present brand, i'd search for associations in that family tree so that it isn't too dissociative.

one could look into branding of the word Dragon, such as Dragon Desktop Utilities, or any variant, such as Red Dragon, etc. perhaps mythological dragons, probably oriental since European ones are regarded as evil and oriental ones are good luck.... or other lizard types. Gecko is pretty well taken, but there's the monitor, and that word is a double entendre anyway...

or you can go with the military connotations, etc.
