Well, with winternals/sysinternals purchase by M$, you can bet thier tools won't be available for long anymore and if they are, certainly wont be free.

So, there is a hole you can, now that this security expert firm has been consumed.

Process Explorer (but like IceSword and ProcExp combined)
AutoRuns
Regmon
Filemon

all security related tools.

You could also do something like HiJackThis.
