Morning andyman35.

Would it be ok to delete the whole folder? there is 20 temp files inside.

Many thanks for your time,
Soulman.

Since they're only TEMP files they're not of any use so it'll be no problem to just delete them, although it isn't really necessary.
You should get yourself a good quality system cleaning util, such as the superb Ccleaner. It's free and removes a lot of unnecessary junk files automatically.

Hi there
It looks like a handy utility thanks. As for those online scans, they can take a fair time to run if you have a large drive.

No problem mate, Hope its usefull to anyone who reads this post. I wonder if its worth putting in the topic :- (free usefull programs) started by Pandlock? .....Im not Knocking this topic but should peer to peer sites be on there, as you and i know you can get hammered with  trojans/malware if you dont know what your doing, just a thought.

I have downloaded bitdefender 8 free edition, as it wont clash with my installed antivirus protection and i can use it as a on demand scanner.I am having problems running the online scan? What ill do is run a full scan when i get time (work/going out for a few beers with the lads tonight) and post the results.

Cheers Cheers

Soulman.

Well seeing how you only scanned with SAS i wouldnt say for sure that "all is well" since there could be a few nasties hiding that SAS doesn't detect? When i go to scan my computer i scan with multiple scanners example: SAS, SpyBoy Search & Destroy, A-quared Free and my anti virus Avast 4.7 Home Edition... Now if they all come back clean I would be about 90% sure you're clean Smiley (the other 10% says that it's possible to have a new nasty whatever that are created daily)

Fair comment.

Yesterday i scanned using: sas, adaware 2007,spybot s&d,avg av,avg as,ran hjt and checked log.....found nothing exept a couple of cookies, sorry i hould have told you this.

I am going to get to the bottom of why i carn't run a online scan, i have av resident sheid to off/spybot resident off when i run a scan.

Thanks.

Well it says its a hack tool so just delete it.  As to why you cant run a BD online scan, those online scanners require Active X objects.  So check that you can accept Active X objects.

maybe try Kaspersky online scanner it *wont* delete anything it finds but it will tell you exactly what is infected if you have any infected files.
