When trying to update anti virus I get the above message. What do I need to do?

I am having the same problem and am surprised to see that the virus definitions have not been updated since 22 September. What's more, the diagnostic tool reports everything is running normally although it is not!

What the hell is going on? There's not even a warning that the antivrus engine is not working, so who knows how long my system has been unprotected.

It's only a couple of months (Possibly 22 September?) since there was a catastrophic problem that made users' computers unusable until a bug fix was released.

I am rapidly losing all confidence in Comodo.
